What is a Hot Stone Massage?

Hot Stone Massage combines personalized massage therapy with smooth, carefully warmed stones.

The warmth creates a deeply comforting experience and helps the body settle into relaxation while focused massage addresses areas of muscular tension.

Stone temperature and placement are monitored throughout the session and may be adjusted at any time for your comfort and safety.

What is a Fire & Ice Massage?

Fire & Ice Massage is a 90-minute specialty massage featuring a soothing combination of warming and cooling therapy.

Carefully selected temperature contrasts are incorporated throughout the session to create a refreshing, immersive experience and encourage deeper relaxation.

Every Fire & Ice session is personalized according to your comfort, health history and ability to safely perceive temperature.

Are hot stones and temperature therapy appropriate for everyone?

Not always.

Before using hot stones or warming and cooling therapy, your therapist will review relevant health considerations, including circulation concerns, reduced sensation, neuropathy, diabetes-related nerve changes, medications, skin conditions and sensitivity to heat or cold.

Temperature-based services may be modified or declined when necessary for your comfort and safety.

What is the 30-Minute Targeted Massage?

The 30-Minute Targeted Massage focuses on one or two areas needing extra attention, such as the neck, shoulders, upper back, lower back, hips or legs.

It is a convenient option for busy schedules or clients who prefer focused massage rather than a full-body session.

Do you offer deep tissue massage?

Yes. Luméa provides focused deep tissue massage using controlled, medium to medium-firm pressure.

Extremely aggressive or intentionally painful techniques are not part of the Luméa experience.

Do you offer massage enhancements?

Yes. Optional enhancements and complimentary comfort options are available with select services.

The options offered during online booking may include aromatherapy, targeted topical products, and a complimentary warming neck wrap.

All enhancements are selected according to personal preference, availability and relevant health considerations.

Do you offer couples massage?

Luméa Massage does not offer traditional couples massage in the same room.

Two guests may book back-to-back private sessions.

Is a deposit required?

No. Luméa Massage does not charge a deposit when an appointment is reserved.

A valid credit or debit card is required to confirm an appointment and protect the reserved time.

Nothing is charged at booking.

Payment for the massage is due at the appointment.

Square securely holds the card for appointment protection.

The card is not saved for future purchases unless the client separately chooses that option.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

Cancellations and rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment and missed appointments may be charged 50% of the scheduled service price to the card provided.

Properly assessed cancellation and no-show fees are non-refundable and cannot be applied toward a future appointment.

What happens if I arrive late?

Late arrival may result in a shortened session so the appointment can remain on schedule.

The full scheduled service price remains due.

Are completed massage services refundable?

Completed massage services are non-refundable.

Please communicate any concern before leaving the studio so it can be addressed appropriately.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights required by applicable law.

Do I need to bring anything?

No.

Everything needed for your massage is thoughtfully provided.

What should I wear?

Undress only to your comfort level.

Professional draping is maintained throughout the session, and only the area being treated is uncovered.

Do you work with minors?

No.

Luméa Massage serves adults 18 years and older only.

Are services professional and non-sexual?

Yes.

Luméa Massage is a professional, non-sexual massage practice. Inappropriate behavior, solicitation, harassment or boundary violations will result in immediate termination of the session without a refund.
